The radio is an electronic component added to Irricontrol boards to enable communication through the Mesh Network.
The Irrimesh is one of the devices that contains the radio. Located at the center of the pivots, the Irrimesh is responsible for exchanging information between the Central/Platform and the Pivot. When communication is lost, the user is unable to send commands through the Irricontrol Platform, view the pivot’s location in the field, and perform other related actions.

I need to irrigate — what should I do now?
Since the communication occurs between the pivot and the Irricontrol Platform, commands cannot be sent to the pivot through the platform alone. Therefore, if this issue happens and irrigation is needed, go to the center of the pivot and start irrigation directly from the Irricontrol Panel. If you have any questions about how to do this, please refer to this article: "How to send commands through Controller G2?".
How to identify and solve the problem?
The procedures below are intended to identify and solve the communication problem between the Irrimesh and the Central Unit.
Was the Irrimesh located in the Scan?
Is the Control Panel powered on?
Was the Irrimesh recognized by the Controller?
Are the cable connections correct?
Is the LED on the Irrimesh lighting up?
Is the Irrimesh antenna in a vertical position?
Was the Irrimesh located in the Scan?
The first step in identifying the problem is to perform a scan through the Irricontrol Platform. This procedure should be repeated twice to ensure that the Irrimesh of the pivot in question was or was not found. Acess the article "How to scan the devices?" to learn how to perform the scan.
If the Irrimesh of the pivot in question is found, then send a configuration to the Controller so that it can restore communication between the Central and the Irrimesh. Access the article "How to send a configuration to the controller through the Platform?" to know more.
If the Irrimesh is not found, even after performing the two scans, proceed to the next step: "Is the Control Panel powered on??".
Is the Control Panel powered on?
Since the Irrimesh is powered by the pivot controller located inside the Irricontrol panel, it must be turned on for communication to occur.

If the Controller turns on but the Irrimesh is still not communicating with the Central, check the topic below "Was the Irrimesh recognized by the Controller?" this article.
Was the Irrimesh recognized by the Controller?
There are three ways to check whether the Irrimesh has been recognized by the Panel Controller: Circle on the main screen, Enabled Radios tab and Radio Number in “About”.
If the Irrimesh is recognized by the Controller, perform a new Scan on the Irricontrol Platform and check if the Irrimesh has reestablished communication with the Central. If the communication issue with the Central persists, proceed to the next topic "Is the Irrimesh antenna positioned vertically?" at this article.
If the Irrimesh is not recognized by the Controller, check the topic "Are the cable connections correct?".
Circle on the main screen
When the Irrimesh is recognized by the controller, a circle appears on the main screen, as shown in the figure below.
Enabled Radios tab
When the Irrimesh is recognized by the controller, the RADIO option appears in the controller’s settings menu.
Radio Number in “About”
Finally, when the Irrimesh is recognized by the controller, the radio number will appear in the ABOUT tab of the controller’s settings menu.
Are the cable connections correct?
The color order of the cables is essential for proper communication. Therefore, check the color sequence indicated for the terminals below. If any wire is misplaced, reposition it correctly using a small, thin screwdriver.
Terminal for connection to the Controller
Check if the wires attached to the green terminal that comes from the Irrimesh and connects to the controller are properly secured and fitted.
Correct Position Incorrect Position
Another point to be checked is the connection of the green terminals. Make sure the green terminal from the cable coming out of the Irrimesh and connecting to the controller is properly fitted.
Correct Position Incorrect Position
Terminal for connection to the Irrimesh
Likewise, check if the wires connected to the green terminal that goes into the Irrimesh are properly fastened and securely connected.
If the connections are correct and the Irrimesh is not identified by the Controller, check the topic "Is the Irrimesh LED turning on?" at this article.
If the connections are correct and the controller recognizes the Irrimesh, check the topic "Is the Irrimesh antenna positioned vertically?".
Is the Irrimesh LED turning on?
The 3V3 LED on the Irrimesh board indicates whether the board is powered. This information is important because if the LED is not on, the board might be burned out, or the LED itself may be faulty.
To check the 3V3 LED on the Irrimesh board, you need to remove the four screws from the Irrimesh box. After opening it, remove the silica gel packets (two small white bags) and check if the LED highlighted in the figure below is lit.
If the 3V3 LED is on and the Irrimesh is still not communicating with the Central after a Scan, check the topic "Is the Irrimesh antenna in a vertical position?".
If the 3V3 LED did not light up and the Irrimesh is not communicating with the Central after a Scan, contact the nearest dealer with this information.
Is the Irrimesh antenna positioned vertically?
The Irrimesh antenna is essential for communication between the pivot and the Central Unit. It must always remain in a vertical position, regardless of the situation.
If the antenna is positioned correctly, check whether it is properly screwed onto the radio connector that comes out of the Irrimesh box.
If the antenna was already properly tightened, take a spare antenna or one from another pivot and attach it to the unit, as shown in the video demonstrating the installation process.
Attention: The antenna must be properly tightened to ensure communication.
Even after performing all the procedures above, if the Irrimesh still does not communicate, swap the Irrimesh units between pivots (if your farm has more than one pivot). Access the article "How to swap the Irrimesh units between pivots?" to learn more.
If, after swapping the Irrimesh units between pivots, both pivots communicate during the Scan, then the problem has been resolved.
If, after the swap, communication is restored only with the Irrimesh that was previously working on another pivot, contact the nearest dealer with the information that the replaced Irrimesh is malfunctioning.
If, after the swap, communication is not restored on either pivot, contact the nearest dealer with the information that the controller of the replaced Irrimesh is possibly malfunctioning.
