Error and Message Log - Controller G2

Introduction

During irrigation, various problems can occur that cause a pivot to stop. This interruption occurs due to some errors in the pivot itself. Thus, Irricontrol shows these errors on the controller screen and the platform, so that the user knows its operation.

Depending on the controller's model, the way these error messages appear is different. In Controllers G1, messages appear in letters, while in Controllers G2, messages appear described. 

 

Controller G2

In Controllers G2, error and pivot messages appear described on the screen. For example, it will appear "Misalignment". In addition, there is an error log in the Controller G2. The following table shows the different codes of the error logs and messages of the Controller G2 with their definitions.

Error 15	Misalignment	This error occurs when the pivot's security system indicates something is wrong with its alignment. The main reasons for misalignment are: – Pivot towers are misaligned due to slope; – Some pivot cable broke and therefore, some of the towers are not moving; – Pivot with a stuck wheel.
Error 16	Pressure drop	This error occurs when the pivot is irrigating, and there is a lack of pressure in the pressure switch, causing the pivot to stop.  The lack of pressure can occur for the following reasons: – Some problem with the water pump caused the lack of pressure; – The pressure switch may have a defect; – The pressure switch may be set with a value too high, not in line with the pivot's average pressure.
Error 17	Dangerous direction	This error occurs when trying to turn on the pivot in a certain direction, the Irricontrol controller detects that it is at the end of travel. For example, at the end of sectoral pivots, it does not allow it to be turned in the direction of the end of travel. To move the pivot, turning to the opposite side of the end of travel is necessary.
Error 18	Power failure	This error occurs when there is a power failure in the pivot's panel, causing irrigation to stop. When this error occurs, it is necessary to verify the reason for the power failure, which may be:  – Power failure from the concessionaire; – Opening of some internal breakers in the panel;  – Burning of some fuse in the Irricontrol boards.
Error 19	Voltage outside the safety range	This error occurs when the voltage measured by the Irricontrol controller is outside the range established by the user in the "Voltage Ranges" option. In which, in this configuration, the pivot must work within this range.   The reasons for this error to occur are:  – When the network voltage actually dropped and, in this case, it will be necessary to check the reason on the farm;  – There may be some phase of the pivot's three-phase that is not working;  – The Irricontrol voltage meter may not be calibrated, and it will be necessary to go to the "Voltage Calibration" option and adjust the measured voltage of the network to the calibrated value; – Error with Irricontrol meter, in this case, it is necessary to disable the "Voltage Calibration" option until the meter is corrected.
Error 20	Invalid parameter	Occurs when, when starting irrigation, there is a parameter that is not with a valid value to start. Inside the Smartconnect Controller there are algorithms to prevent this error, however, if it happens, it is necessary to perform a factory reset (to perform this process, press the "Advanced Settings" button for approximately 5 seconds).
Error 21	Unknown Error	If for some reason, the Controller is unable to identify the reason for the stop, the message "unknown error" is displayed. It can occur when a cable is disconnected on the Irricontrol panel or on the pivot itself.
Error 23	Pump time exceeded	This error occurs when, when turning on the pivot to irrigate, it turns on the water pump, and if the pivot does not pressurize within a defined time limit in the "Pump Time" option, the Controller turns off Irrigation for safety.  The reasons for this error to occur are: – There may be a problem with the water pump;  – The water pump may not turn on; – There may be a leak or break in the pipeline;  – There may be an error in the pressure switch, which is not acting.
