Irripump is the product used to remotely operate and monitor pumps through the Irricontrol Platform.
1 - Product Components
Before starting the installation, make sure all items are included in the product box before heading to the field, as shown below. The components of the Irripump are:
1. 01 Irripump;
2. 01 6-way cables;
3. 01 Antenna AP3900;
4. 01 Axial cable for 5M 95% Antenna;
5. 01 Antenna mount;
6. Support:
- 01 Wall support;
- 04 Philips screws 4.8x45mm for 8mm wall plugs;

- 04 8mm wall plugs;

- 01 Tube;

- 01 "U" clamps;

- 02 Hex head screws M8x15mm;

2 - Mechanical Installation of the IRRIPUMP
To install the Irripump mount, simply follow the step-by-step instructions below, securing the mount at the location pre-defined in the project:
-
Drill the holes in the wall using the mount as a template and insert the four 8mm wall plugs;
-
Secure the mount in place using the four Philips screws for 8mm plugs;
-
Attach the tube to the mount and fasten it with the M8x15mm screws;

4. Use the axial cable and connect it to the antenna mount;
5. Attach the AP3900 antenna to the axial cable;
6. Add the "U" clamps and secure the mount to the tube.
7. And connect the other end of the cable to the top part of the Irripump.
8. In a protected location, drill holes in the wall following the existing mounts on the equipment and secure it with screws and wall plugs.
3 - Electrical Installation of the IRRIPUMP
Communication Cables:
COMMAND Cable: Responsible for sending a command to the contactor that activates the pump from the pump's Starter Panel.
CONTACTOR Cable: Responsible for receiving a signal from the pump's Starter Panel (confirming that the pump has been turned on), activating the internal contactor of the Irripump.
Power Cables:
The cables identified as PHASE and NEUTRAL must remain connected so that the radio is always on and ready to receive pump activation commands.
The Irripump sends a signal to activate the pump start contactor and receives a signal that engages its internal contactor. Thus, make the following cable connections:
Connection at the Starter Panel
With the panel power turned off, make the following connections on the starter panel terminal block:
-
Connect the RED wire of the 6-way PP to a phase point of the panel after the protection;
-
Connect the WHITE wire to a neutral point of the panel after the protection;
-
Connect the BLACK wire to a contactor responsible for controlling the pumping;
-
Connect the GRAY wire to a point that contains power after the pumping is in operation;
-
Connect the GREEN wire to a grounding point;
-
Insulate the BLUE wire.
Connection on the Equipment
-
Connect the RED wire to the PHASE of the power supply and the WHITE wire to the NEUTRAL of the power supply;
- Connect the GREEN wire to GROUND and insulate the BLUE wire.
- Connect the BLACK wire to the wire identified as COMMAND and the GRAY wire to the wire identified as CONTACTOR;
- On the panel, select the remote option.
Expected standardization:
Radio Number:
Inside the box, there is a sequence of radio numbers that must be saved in order to register it on the platform. The video below shows how to find this number on the equipment.
Completion
Note: This Irripump is mounted on the wall with its wiring protected by a flexible conduit, and the antenna is installed on the exterior area of the pump house.
