Command Cables:
COMMAND Cable: Responsible for sending a signal to a contactor that activates the pump through the pump Starter Panel..
Power Cables:
The cables identified as PHASE and NEUTRAL must remain connected so that the radio is always powered and ready to receive pump activation commands.
The SPOTi sends a signal to activate a pump starter contactor. Therefore, make the following cable connections:
- Connection at the Starter Panel
With the panel power turned off, make the following connections at the terminal strip of the pump Starter Panel:
-
Connect the RED wire from the 6-way PP cable to a phase point on the panel after the protection;
-
Connect the WHITE wire to a neutral point on the panel after the protection;
-
Connect the GREEN wire to a grounding point;
-
Connect the BLACK wire to a contactor responsible for controlling the pumping;
-
Isolate the GRAY wire;
-
Isolate the BLUE wire.
-
- Connection at the Equipment
- Connect the RED wire to the power supply PHASE and the WHITE wire to the power supply NEUTRAL;
- Connect the GREEN wire to GROUND and isolate the BLUE wire;
- Connect the BLACK wire to the wire identified as COMMAND and isolate the GRAY wire.
On the panel: Set the door selector switch to the “remote” option.
Expected Standardization:
