Pivot settings are necessary for generating reports, viewing positions, editing pivot operating hours, activating pivot accessory functions, among others. To access and configure the pivot's editing page on the platform, just follow the instructions below.
Access
01. Access, with the left side menu, the Farm's initial screen;
02. Click on the Pivot you want to configure;
03. Click on the icon showed below, at the top of the pivot's page;
04. The Pivot's editing page will open and the different settings for it will be available.

Editing the Pivot
General
In this tab, it is possible to view the radios used in the Central, the controller, the GPS, and the pump radio. Additionally, you can add some characteristics of the Pivot Technical Data Sheet. These characteristics are: flow rate, radius to the last tower, speed of the last tower, and irrigated area. Furthermore, it is possible to add the voltage settings, language, and name of the pivot. If the farm has a lot of voltage variation, it is essential to leave the Voltage Controller “Check” disabled (unchecked, as shown in the figure below).
It is also possible to include the pivot manufacturer, panel type, and operating voltage ranges
Still in this tab, when it is sent a "Configuration" to the pivot, it returns when the controller is communicating with the central. To check this, take a look at the article "How to send a configuration to the Controller through the Platform?".

Location
The location is necessary so that the pivot can be located in the correct position and so that the equipment can work properly. Just enter the latitude and longitude of the pivot Center (Center) and the Last Tower (Start Reference).

Clock
Adjusting the controller's time is important so that the scheduled commands work properly. That way, leave it configured according to the current time, or change it manually. To do this, click on the down arrow in the right and choose the desired option to adjust it.
To adjust it, click on the down arrow in the right and choose between the two options existing. In the case of adjusting it manually, enter the time in the "Equipment Date" field.

Pressure
In this tab, it is possible to add the pump power of the pivot. In addition, you can add also power time, pump timeout, delay time, unstable pressure switch time, minimum sensor value, pressure sensor maximum range and sensor scale. It is necessary to select the kind of pressure reading according to the equipment installed on the pivot.
Definitions:
Pump Timeout: regarding the time limit for the pivot to pressurize, in case it exceeds this time, the pump is powered off for safety.
Delay Time: time after the pivot has just pressurized, there is a wait for the pressure to reach the last tower and turn on the pivot.
Unstable Pressure Switch Time: referring to the time after pressurizing the pivot, if there's any pressure oscillation below the minimum pressure, the pivot will still not turn off and the pump will try to return to normal pressure. If this time passes and the pressure is still below the minimum pressure, the pump and the pivot will turn off.
Fertigation pump: it is a system linked to the pivot that is part of the irrigation process. Additives that complement the irrigation of the crop can be added.

Rain Gauge
If the pivot has rain gauge, it is necessary to configure it according to the Farm's preferences. There are three modes: disabled, by value and by decrement.
Disabled: in this mode, the pivot won't stop due to the amount of rain, but the equipment will still measure the millimeters of rain;
By value: in this mode, the pivot will stop after reaching the established limit of millimeters of rain in the field "Value" on the right side.
By decrement: in this mode, the pivot increases the percentimeter (the closest to 100%) with the purpose of compensating for the amount of millimeters that rained.
If the Rain Gauge is installed later, it is possible to enable it by clicking on "Enable Pluviometer".

Pause Time
Pause Time are time ranges in which the pivot shouldn't operate because the cost of electricity is higher. Enable Peak Time 1 and define the Initial peak time and its end. Finally, mark the days of the week that you wish to activate the pause time.
Additionally, it is possible to include the energy price ranges for three options: peak, off-peak, and reduced.

Segments and Planting
In some pivots, it is necessary to segment them in two or more parts. That way, Irricontrol provides this feature, where it is possible to create till five segments. To configure the pivot's segments, first insert the maximum angle that the pivot reaches. After that, define the start angle, the end angle and the segment name. Finally, click on and add other segments to the pivot.
The example below shows how segments are configured. In it, Segment 1 starts at 0º and ends at 180º and Segment 2 starts at 180º and ends at 360º, totalizing the maximum angle that the pivot reaches, in this case, 360º.
If the operator wants to delete a segment and redo the operation, just click on .
IMPORTANT:
The Pivot Operating Angle feature is extremely important, as it determines whether the pivot is a full-circle (central) pivot or a sector pivot. When configured correctly, the platform will accurately define the area covered by the equipment in its visual representation.
Example of a Sector Pivot:
Note: The Platform will not save the settings until all the segments complete the angle previously defined.

Endgun
In some of the pivots there's an endgun installed on the last tower and Irricontrol provides a tool to configure it. There are three modes for the endgun: Always off, always on and By switch.
Always off: in this mode, the endgun is never on, only the pivot.
Always on: in this mode, the endgun will be always on while the pivot is moving.
By switch: in this mode, it is possible to keep the endgun on or off according to parts previously configured. Irricontrol Platform provides the possibility to create up to 10 segments in which the endgun will be on. To configure these parts, just enter the start angle, the end angle and click on
. With all segments configured, the endgun will be activated at the established angles.
The following picture shows an example of an endgun turned on by switch. In it, the pivot will be on at the angles 0º to 125º, 160º to 323º and 336º to 360º. And it will be off at all angles that are not included in those ranges.
If the operator wants to delete a segment and redo the operation, just click on .

Autoreversion
Some pivots don't complete the 360º turn, so it is necessary that as soon as the pivot reaches the end of the course, it returns and does not exceed the established limits. In this way, Irricontrol provides the feature Autoreversion, which has three modes: Disabled, By end of stroke and By angle.
Disabled: in this mode, autoreversion won't be necessary. It is used for pivots that complete the 360º course.
By end of stroke: in this mode, it is necessary to add a waiting time. This time is the time the pivot will stay in position until it starts moving in the opposite direction. The pivot will always make this reversion till it stops.
By angle: the pivot stops moving at an angle previously established. It must be added a waiting time. This time is the same one configured for the option By end of stroke.
