How to send a configuration to the controller through the Platform?

Configuration is important whenever any pivot information is changed in the Edit Pivot tab. If the user clicks Save and does not wait for the Controller Radio to display two blue check marks (), the controller will not receive and apply the information saved on the Platform to the pivot.

In addition, configuration is important during a new installation so that the controller can identify the GPS and Pump Cable radios (when applicable). Therefore, after replacing any radio, it is also essential to send a new configuration to the pivot controller.

01. Access the Pivot Edit page (a Configurator permission level is required in the Irricontrol Platform), as shown in the figure below.

02. On the General tab, click Save and wait until both the Controller Radio and the GPS Radio display two blue check marks, (), indicating that the controller has received the configuration and has sent a confirmation message back to the Platform acknowledging receipt.

IMPORTANT: In this scenario, the command is essential for restoring communication in the event of a GPS communication failure and for completing the configuration process after a recent product installation.
